Festival founder Gary Paterson said about the Festival:
“2017… Did it go according to the plan? Well if you were planning for the arrival of Noah and his Arc then yeah it probably did, the weather was perfect! Amazing Location? Check! Awesome Bands? Check! Amazing Weather? mmm nope…not quite.
It is the fabled British Summer after all, but did the show go on…you bet it did! We made mistakes and we’ll be the first to admit that, but aren’t you supposed to learn from your mistakes? Yes, you are so that’s exactly what we’ve done.”
He continued “With a more experienced team in place Amplified 2018 will be the festival we wanted 2017 to be, but more importantly, it will be the festival you want it to be…You are Amplified!
You’re the reason we’re all raring to get in a field in Gloucestershire ready for the fences and stages to be erected once again, so we can bring you the best in live music and entertainment along with great bars and amazing food for you all to enjoy.
We can’t wait to announce the first confirmed acts coming to you at Amplified 2018…so prepare for a few surprises along with a few friends returning to say thank you.”
The Festival returns to the same location as the 2017 edition; Quarrydowns, Gloucestershire in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds.
Running from 6th-8th July 2018, Amplified Open Air Festival has also announced that Limited Early Bird tickets (priced at a staggeringly affordable £80* for the entire weekend) will go on sale TODAY (4th September) and will run until either 1st November or until they’re gone. For bands wishing to apply to take part Amplified 2018, applications are now open via the Amplified website and will be open until 31st October 2017.
