ANATHEMA CONFIRMED FOR BELFAST AND DUBLIN SHOWS IN SEPTEMBER – DETAILS HERE!

Anathema has spent the vast majority of their career making music that defies description. With a history of captivating, outer atmospheric live performances, the return of the Liverpudlian natives back to Ireland, will no doubt be received well by the band’s loyal Irish fans. Details of both Belfast and Dublin shows can be found below.

Formed in the mid-90s to become one of the UK’s most cherished and critically acclaimed rock bands, Anathema will return to Ireland for two confirmed dates on September 23rd in Belfast’s, Limelight 2 and the following night (September 24th) in Dublin’s Academy.

Tickets are priced €25 and £25 (booking fee included) and available from Ticketmaster outlets and online as well as Sound Cellar, located on Dublin’s Nassau Street.

With each release they move beyond the boundaries of limited scenes and pigeon holes, creating a complex and emotive atmospheric sound. Having just completed the first part of the band’s new album in Donegal, Anathema promises to cast a spellbinding performance that will match their impeccable legacy of live performances in Ireland.

The yet to be titled album has been marked for a Spring release date. Overdrive will keep you up to date as we learn of any news.
