Anthrax have been busy recording the follow up to their highly successful Worship Music masterpiece, which saw the return on long term vocalist Joey Belladonna. The title of the band’s forthcoming album has just been christened as For All The Kings and is due to be released on February 26th via Nuclear Blast.
The band released this video earlier today to confirm the news!
The band recently revealed the new single “Evil Twin” and they’re currently on tour in Europe with Slayer in advance of the new album. Check out the dates for the tour below.
Drummer Charlie Benante is missing the first few weeks of the run, dealing with continued issues relating to the surgery he underwent for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome a while back. The drummer says he’s been dealing with pain and numbness and after playing for a few weeks, he realized he wasn’t able to deliver the intensity needed for an Anthrax show. So he’s resting up a bit before joining Anthrax for the last couple of weeks of touring overseas.
However, though the drummer does intend to join the band later in the run, he revealed that his time stateside will be put to good use. In his statement on the matter, he revealed that he’s been actively involved in coming up for the artwork for the new album and he’s been assisting in putting together the special Anthrax edition of their Spreading the Disease 30th anniversary reissue.
