With our sights set firmly on Catton Park, Derbyshire for the annual metal gathering, Bloodstock delivers yet another set of crushing bands to join headliners Amon Amarth and Megadeth as well as Blind Guardian, Annihilator, Testament, Hatebreed and many more.

Bloodstock line up 2017 Feb

Today (Feb, 16th) Overdrive can confirm that Swedish metal legends ARCH ENEMY will be appearing at the festival over the weekend. With their new DVD/Blueray release ‘As The Stages Burn‘ set for release on March 31st, ARCH ENEMY will be unleashing their fury from the Ronnie James Dio stage on Sunday alongside MEGADETH and some of the world’s most iconic metal bands.

Also confirmed for the festival weekend is Salt Lake City deathcore mob CHELSEA GRIN who will be taking to the main stage on Friday, August 11th. Currently, on a European run of dates, the six-piece are promoting the release of their most recent ‘Ashes To Ashes‘ album which has been received by fans and critics alike with glowing reviews.

The Sophie Lancaster stage will see prog metallers ONI join the ranks on Saturday.  Signed to Metal Blade, these Canadians recently unveiled a creepy video for ‘The Only Cure’ from debut album ‘Ironshore’, featuring guest vocals from Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe. See video below;

Frontman Jake Oni says “In the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of playing the UK a few times, but being a part Bloodstock 2017 is a huge honour.  We are not only excited to show this festival what we’ve got, but also to see some of the masters that are playing!!!  You don’t want to miss this!”  ONI warm up for their BLOODSTOCK debut by traversing Europe next month with Children of Bodom.
