CROWBAR RETURN FOR TWO IRISH DATES THIS OCTOBER WITH UK DEATH METAL CREW, INGESTED.

Sludge/Doom overlords, Crowbar have confirmed their return to Ireland for two headline shows this October, in Belfast and Dublin. Details below;

With three decades of bone-crushing metal behind them, New Orleans doom crew, Crowbar have no intentions stopping any time soon.

Kirk Windstein and Co. will be returning to Ireland for two exclusive headline shows in Dublin’s Voodoo Lounge on Tuesday, October 2nd and Wednesday, October 3rd in Belfast’s Limelight 2.

Tickets are on sale from this Friday, (May 4th) via Ticketmaster priced at €20.00 (Dublin) and £17.50 (Belfast).

Crowbar’s eleventh and latest album, which was released back in October 28th, The Serpent Only Lies, is both an affirmation of the band’s staying power and a nod to their legacy. “To me, it’s a fresh­sounding version of old­school Crowbar,” says vocalist, guitarist and mastermind Kirk Windstein.

“I intentionally went back and listened to a lot of old Crowbar stuff, like the self­titled and BrokenGlass albums, to get a feel for what my mindset was 20­plus years ago. I also went back and listened to the bands that influenced Crowbar in the beginning, like Trouble, Saint Vitus, Melvins, and the first Type O Negative record. So it was kinda me doing my homework.”

Joining the doom/sludge legends will be Manchester’s Ingested. Having built a reputation as one of the most savage death metal acts to come out of the UK for a long time their punishing beat-downs, epic riffage, guttural vocals and blistering speed are just some of the weapons in Ingested’s musical arsenal.
