DOWN SET TO RETURN IN 2020.

Down have today announced their first live show since 2016!

It would appear that Down are set to make their return to the live circuit in 2020.

The band have newly been announced for the June 20th, 2020 date of the annual ‘Graspop Metal Meeting‘ festival in Dessel, Belgium.

The band last performed in August of 2016 at the ‘Psycho Las Vegas‘ festival. They’ve largely been on hiatus since their frontman Philip H. Anselmo‘s infamous racist outburst at the 2016 ‘Dimebash‘ event.

Anselmo went on to apologies for his behaviour that night multiple times since which has been widely reported.

It may be of interest that next year will mark the 25th anniversary of the band’s 1995 debut album “NOLA“ (Pictured below);

While it’s unclear if the band will mark that anniversary with any special shows, Anselmo stated earlier this year that he hoped that guitarist Kirk Windstein would rejoin the band for any potential upcoming touring commitments.
