Overdrive and Jetrocker Events have teamed up with Sin É in Dublin’s city centre to bring you a special free event in celebration of the mighty ALICE IN CHAINS.

Formed originally in 2007, Alice In Chains tribute band ANGRY CHAIR combines members of some of the tightest bands on the Dublin music scene. Moe (Jerry) and Christopher (Mike) are best known from grunge/metal powerhouse Syllian Rayle, while Marky (Layne) also fronts I’d Fight Gandhi and Frantica, a tribute to Metallica.

With a string of gigs under the belt of each member, the band came together from a mutual love of the music of Alice in Chains, an unrivalled passion for performing, and a desire to deliver a sound worthy of the memory of the late Layne Staley.

Following the performance on the main stage, Overdrive DJ’s will be taking to the decks for a set of anthems from metal, rock, punk, alternative and beyond, taking you right through to the early hours of Sunday morning!

The show will be a FREE ADMISSION event for all and will no doubt be packed with solid tunes that will have you raising your glass in honour of Alice in Chains!
