Frank Iero announces his first Dublin show at The Academy as Frnkiero and the Cellabration this September. Frank finished 2014 on a high, recording a BBC Radio 1 session for Daniel P Carter, playing his first ever headline show in London at a sold out Barfly in Camden. Frank is no stranger to the stage, ex guitarist of American rock band My Chemical Romance which regrettably spilt in 2013.
Frank talks about his new record “Stomachaches”.
“I’m really looking forward to taking this full record to the UK in April. When making Stomachaches I really wanted you to feel like you were listening in on the songs as opposed to listening to them. And I believe the intimacy of venue’s we’ve chosen for this headline run will support that idea.”
Frank Iero released his debut solo record, ‘stomachaches’, last year to fantastic reviews in the UK rock press, along with the videos for ‘.joyriding.’ and ‘.weighted.’ the two singles from the album to date. Currently on tour with Against Me! Frank will continue the tour to Dublin’s Academy, 2nd September.
