Commenting on the show the band said; “Our last Dublin show was unbelievable – the turnout, the crowd engagement, and the overall experience is one that will stick with us for many years. That said, we’re really excited to bring our live show up a level this August, and to share the stage with three of our favourite Irish bands at the minute.
We’re absolutely buzzing to have Dead Label as main support – we last played with these guys in 2016, and to see what they’ve achieved over the past 8 years should be inspiring for all Irish bands looking to make a mark outside of the country. Solothurn recently released their first EP which is a must-listen for all alt-metal fans, and made the 2024 Metal to The Masses Northern Ireland final to rave live reviews.
And finally, 2023 Metal 2 The Masses Ireland champions, LaVein are one of the most exciting metal hardcore bands in the country at the minute. They absolutely crush it live too.”

Joining Hero In Error, will be non-other than Kildare Metal force, Dead Label. This will be the bands first Irish show since performing on the main stage at Bloodstock in 2023.
Drummer, Claire Perceval says of the show; “We are delighted to share the stage with Hero in Error again, it’s been over a decade! Eamon Doran’s if I remember correctly? We were always inspired by the lads, and can’t wait to wreck the place with them.”
Dead Label’s latest single, ‘Forget the Names‘ (stream below) was released last Summer and since then, the band have been busy writing the follow-up to their ‘Anthology EP‘ in 2021, which was a culmination of all their isolated singles. This will also be the first time the band have performed in The Workmans Venue.
Belfast’s Solothurn will also be taking to the stage on the night with their brand of alternative metal, which has been earning them considerable praise thanks to their Alice in Chains, Deftones, Kerbdog, Therapy?, and Soundgarden influences. Their music combines heavy, melodic riffs and hook-laden vocals with stoner rock grooves to create reverb-drenched walls of noise. Do not miss out on these guys!
Opening up the night will be 2023’s Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses victors, LaVein. Since their crushing performance at Bloodstock, the band have been back-to-back busy with shows that has seen them lay waste to stages all over Ireland, as well as the UK.
Tickets for Hero In Error, Dead Label, Solothurn, and LaVein are on sale NOW priced at €16.55 (inc booking fees) via this link. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
Don’t sleep on it.
