The band will play two benefit gigs—tonight in Dublin, and this Friday in Cork—in support of their former guitarist and close friend, Adam Moore, who has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 14 years.
The Dublin event, held at The Sound House, also marks the 15th anniversary of the band’s seminal record “The High Points of New Lows”. Sharing the bill are fellow heavyweights Solothurn and Uragh, creating a powerful night of community, catharsis, and crushing riffs. General admission set at €10, and all proceeds go directly to Adam’s ongoing medical fundraiser (See link below).
The second show takes place tomorrow (Friday, April 25th) in Cork Dali venue, and like the Dublin performance, it is more than just a concert—it’s a heartfelt call to action.
Adam, who now runs the independent merch company Merch Limbo, has remained a vital part of the Irish music scene, consistently supporting others through thick and thin. Now, it’s the community’s turn to give back.
Adam’s condition has worsened in recent years, with increasing tremors, pain, and fatigue making daily life a struggle. His partner, Tania, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise the €75,000 needed for stem cell treatment in Germany—a potentially life-altering intervention that could offer Adam a renewed sense of independence and stability.
“Adam’s positivity and determination continue to inspire me every day,” Tania shares in the campaign. “Despite his challenges, he remains steadfast in his commitment to his health and well-being.”
