King’s new band has unveiled their logo, which was shared by King drummer (and former Slayer drummer) Paul Bostaph.

King had previously spoken about Bostaph being in his solo band, but now we know it’s actually happening for real.

King and Bostaph worked together in Slayer for most of the years between 1992 and 2001, and then again between 2013 and the end of Slayer in 2019. King’s band is also rumoured include Slayer (and Exodus) guitarist Gary Holt in the fold, as well as Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo, however neither artists have been confirmed as of yet.

Welcome to Rockville will take place in Datona, Florida on May 9th-12th and will feature a enormous line up featuring the likes of Motley Crue, Limp Bizkit, Foo Fighters, Slipknot, Primus, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Mr Bungle, Machine Head and more…

Kerry King is expected to start releasing new music in the coming months so keep your ears open as this has been in the works since 2020.
