METALLICA, OZZY, AC/DC,TOOL, GUNS N ROSES AND IRON MAIDEN RUMOURED FOR POWER TRIP FESTIVAL

Whispers among industry professionals have been talking about Power Trip Festival, a giant production event that is rumoured to be taking place this October in California, and (allegedly) features big hitters such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Guns n’ Roses, Tool, and  Ozzy Osbourne…

AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Tool have all posted about this mysterious event, which reportedly will be a new version of previous California fest Desert Trip from promoting giants Goldenvoice (according to Variety).

Desert Trip’s inaugural bill in 2016 included the likes of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, while Power Trip is clearly a much heavier affair – though it’ll still take place at the original Desert Trip (and Coachella) location, Empire Polo Field in California.

The first official announcement is coming today (Thursday, March 30th), and if the teasers are all correct, then Power Trip will host AC/DC’s first show since 2016, as well as Ozzy Osbourne’s first live dates since he sadly cancelled his No More Tours II.
