METALLICA TO RELEASE LIVE ACOUSTIC DOUBLE ALBUM FOR CHARITY.

Posted on by Oran

Just when you think Metallica have done it all, they announce an acoustic live album due for release in February 2019. Get all the details here;

Metallica played one of the more interesting shows of their career last month when they went unplugged at San Francisco’s Masonic to raise money for the band’s very own All Within My Hands Foundation.

The record — called Helping Hands … Live & Acoustic at the Masonic —  was recorded by Jason Gossman, mixed by Greg Fidelman, mastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering, vinyl lacquers by Kevin Bartley at Capitol Studios and won’t be out until February 1st, 2019, but pre-orders are available now via this link.

All net proceeds will go to the foundation, which just donated $100,000 to assist California emergency services during the recent wildfires. See the full tracklist — and watch the unplugged take of “All Within My Hands” below.
