Schenker’s “My Years With UFO 1972-1978” tour will see the virtuoso perform a specially curated setlist of classics from his time with the pioneering hard rock band, delivering an unforgettable experience for longtime fans and rock enthusiasts alike.
Emerging as a teenage prodigy, Schenker joined UFO in 1973 and quickly became an integral part of their signature sound. His blistering guitar work defined some of the band’s most influential albums, including Phenomenon (1974), Force It (1975), and Lights Out (1977), contributing to timeless tracks such as “Doctor Doctor,” “Rock Bottom,” “Lights Out,” and “Love to Love.”
His tenure with UFO solidified his reputation as one of rock’s most revered guitarists, influencing generations of musicians.
Supporting Michael Schenker on these Irish dates are rising Irish hard rockers XIII Doors, fresh off the success of their critically acclaimed slew of singles, the bands debut album, Into the Unknown is set to be released on Thursday, Feb 20th.
