NIGHTWISH UPDATE ON EU/UK SCHEDULED SHOWS. IRISH DATE POSTPONED.

Nightwish have announced their forthcoming live shows with some changes, most noticeably the postponement of their Irish date which was scheduled for November 17th in the capitals 3Arena. 

Todays announcement features a select run of dates through the UK and Europe however, no information on when they will reschedule their Irish date.

In a statement released this morning via their record label, Nuclear Blast, the band said:

19.12. VIENNA, STADTHALLE AT
20.12. PRAGUE, O2 ARENA CZ
29.12. TAMPERE, UROS AREENA FI
30.12. HELSINKI, ICE HALL FI

These are the only shows for 2021. Due to various Covid restrictions, we have had to postpone the rest of the European tour dates to 2022 and we will announce the new dates as soon as possible. Hold on to your tickets! We would also like to kindly remind you that proof of vaccination and/or recovery will be required to enter these shows. We heartily thank you for your patience in these peculiar times and hope to see as many of you as possible very soon!

At these shows, the band will present some tracks from their current studio album Human. :II: Nature. and maintain their reputation as one of the best live bands in heavy music. Being known for unique stage designs and pyro effects, the Finnish symphonic metal heroes promise to take their audience on a spectacular audiovisual journey – once again.

Finnish metal legends Amorphis will be special guests on this tour, with the billing completed by Industrial band, Turmion Kätilöt.
