Deemed one of the most influential bands in the development of death metal, Obituary formed in 1984 in Florida.

Universally accepted as one of the most successful death metal bands they have just announced their headline show in Belfast, Limelight 2 on September 3rd, The Academy, Dublin on September 4th, and Limerick Dolan’s Warehouse on September 5th.

The band states:
It has been way too long since we’ve had the opportunity to invade England & Ireland properly and we could not be any more excited about this announcement. Finally a tour that brings us to so many cool towns and cities across the UK/IRE that allows us to get up close & personal with our fans and a true “grass roots” run! Hang on to your ass..this is going to be epic!!

Support comes from the mighty Pest Control.

The bands latest album ‘Dying of Everything‘ has been, to date, one of the best Death Metal albums of 2023, and will, no doubt, get an airing when they take to the stage in The Academy this coming September.

Check out the live video for ‘Dying of Everything‘ below…

Tickets are on sale from Monday, May 22nd via all usual vendors, priced at €30 (inc booking fee).

Dying of Everything‘ is out now.
