THE PSYCHS ANNOUNCE HEADLINE SHOW AND NEW SINGLE ‘SWEET TOOTH OUTLAW’

Posted on by Oran

Kildare four-piece garage rockers The Psychs have announced their new single, as well as a highly anticipated headline show at The Workman’s Cellar, Dublin on Saturday 3rd February 2024.

The Psychs have also just dropped a raucous brand-new single and video ‘Sweet Tooth Outlaw’ which is available everywhere now.

Sweet Tooth Outlaw shows a different side of the band, where they’ve taken a left turn and are galloping off into the neon sunset of a twisted, seedy wild west. The song combines elements from their musical tastes, having picked each poison carefully fusing 80’s disco, country blues with their classic rock n’ roll grit.

The accompanying video was shot on location at The Medley on Fleet Street in the heart of Dublin city, which stars Adam Stewart in his debut role as the swagger-dripped, strutting ‘Sweet Tooth Outlaw’.

The video explores the fine line between delusion and confidence, featuring excessive visuals of addiction, self-doubt and insecurity, yet includes tragic comedy that so often results from futile efforts to defeat such issues.

The film features cameos from all members of the band, plus a selection of their fans, and was shot and edited by Craig Johnston. Lead singer Billy Kid Jones directed.

Tickets €15.45 including booking fee go on sale this Monday 27th November at 10am via Ticketmaster.ie.

The Psychs are Billy Kid Jones (Vocals) Ben (Guitars) Clampo (Bass) and Aaron (Drums). The band formed in 2020. Their last release was The Devil’s Favourite Son EP in April 2023.

The Psychs have announced a highly anticipated headline show at The Workman’s Cellar, Dublin on Saturday 3rd February 2024 (tickets here), and have been confirmed for Other Voices in Dingle on Saturday 2nd December 2023.
