Psykosis double down on what they do best: neck-wrecking thrash served with spit, sneer, and streetwise swagger.
Opener “Insanitised” sets the tone with an unrelenting blitz of razor-sharp riffing and manic energy, instantly pulling you into the chaos. It’s followed by a relentless barrage of pit-fuel, with the vicious “Boiling Point” standing tall as one of the record’s purest thrash bangers—tight, furious, and packed with filthy hooks that demand a circle pit.
Elsewhere, “Tossed to the Dogs” and “General Waste” showcase the band’s instinct for groove and venomous delivery, blending classic Bay Area violence with just enough punkish grime to keep things unpredictable.
The title track, “Mind Games”, is an absolute ripper—pulling no punches as it drags you into its barbed-wire chaos with bloodied knuckles and a devilish grin.
This is music built for sweat-soaked clubs and beers flung in the air. Mind Games doesn’t aim to be clever—it aims to hurt. And in that mission, Psykosis knock it out of the park. Irish thrash is alive, gnashing, and still gleefully kicking your fucking teeth in.
