Tower Records Presents MONSTER TRUCK Acoustic Live in-store, Tuesday, March 14, 1.30pm

The last time Canadian Juggernauts Monster Truck were in Dublin they were supporting Nickelback at the 9,500 capacity 3Arena in October last year. They will be back to play a special intimate 20-minute acoustic set at Tower Records on Tuesday 14th March at 1.30pm ahead of their headline show at the Academy 2 that night.

This is a chance to catch one of the most exciting upcoming hard rocks act in the world up close and personal. Their latest album Sittin’ Heavy received rave reviews; being hailed as “fresh and exciting” by Metal Hammer, how they “set the bar to unprecedented heights” by Rock Sound, the new record is “relentless and unstoppable” proclaimed Guitarist and a “hard rocking masterpiece” by Big Cheese. As well as guitar legend Slash backing their corner, Dee Snider can’t get enough of them saying “Holy Fuck, this band rocks” whilst Dave Navarro declared they are ‘Killer band, great guitar playing.”

They have already played with some of the biggest names in rock such as the mighty; Gun’s n Roses, Slash, Alice in Chains, ZZ Top, Buckcherry, Rival Sons, Nickelback, Billy Talent, Rob Zombie, Janes Addiction, Volbeat, Black Stone Cherry, they slayed the mainstage at Download last year and will be heading out on tour with the legendary Deep Purple through May and June.
