TWO TALES OF WOE REVEAL NEW ARTWORK AND BRAND NEW TRACK “BURNING LANDS’!

A mountainous force of crushing riffs and brain-hacking groove? It can only be the mighty TWO TALES OF WOE! The Dublin, Ireland based five piece return with their first glimpse of new material in three years.

TWO TALES OF WOE BAND PROMO

Considered as one of the jewels in the Irish metal underground, Two Tales of Woe formed in 2005 and have been crafting a unique blend of down-tuned, sonic goodness that is bursting with multifaceted flavours touching on doom, sludge and classic hard rock.

The guys have been busy this year penning new material for the follow up to their independently released A Conversation with Death, which was released in 2009 and have also been causing quite a stir in this years Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses campaign in Ireland. One of the great aspects of the band is their ability to transform everything they embark upon into something that screams their own name.

With a line up consisting of Carl King (vocals), Dan Walsh &  Justin Maloney (guitars), Dave Buttner (bass) and drummer Kelvin Doran, Two Tales of Woe pride themselves on being able to blend multiple musical bases, loaded with rambunctious full-fat choruses, that would have the likes of Corrosion of Conformity and Clutch band members tipping their hats with approval!

A statement from the band on the new material can be read below.

“Well everyone, thank you so much for supporting us (TTOW) over the years, its not been an easy ride being a fan of The Woe but we are forever grateful for your undying support and patience. As some of you may or may not know we were scheduled to release our second album ‘The Oak Of Memory’ a few years back, but alas for various reasons this album may not see the light of day, so we were left with no new release.

Skip forward a few years, and we return from our self imposed exile to an amazing crowd response supporting Corrosion of Conformity in the Academy, a night we will never forget. Then we became part of the amazing Bloodstock family when we entered the Bloodstock Metal 2 The Masses competition 2016. Being part of such a supportive amazing collective of people and bands gave us the drive and the fire to produce for all of you, our brand new song, which we have recorded and are going to share with you all.

This song is called ‘Burning Lands’ and the title speaks for itself, and we as a group are extremely proud of this song and the possibilities in the direction it can lead us. We hope you will take the time to download, share and enjoy our new track.

ONWARDS TO BLOODSTOCK!!”
