Just ahead of their pre-Christmas jaunt over in the UK with the slightly mental Baby Godzilla, WOUNDS will be taking the stage in Fibbers with a bag full of tunes that will have you picking up the remains of your face from the beer soaked floor.
The guys in the band have been busy writing and getting their game faces on for what looks like a busy couple of months ahead.
The infectious anthems that are littered on the bands debut album “Die Young” have been making headway in the UK and America attracting all manor of fans. The most recent news for the band came with the interest of ITB (International Talent Booking) who look after acts such as Biffy Clyro, Soulfly, Kvelertak and Black Label Society who signed them up as booking agents for Europe.
The announcement of this show was greeted with some excessive air punching and a “fuck yea” thrown in for good measure. WOUNDS just bring it live, 100% authentic brilliance and if you are still one of those people that has heard the name but never checked them out, now is your chance to finally get violated (in a good way) by Aidan, James, Craig and Aaron who will do their very best to prove to you that YES, bands from Ireland can really break out of the scene and YES, if you just stick to the plan and keep on keeping on, things will happen. 2014 looks like it’s gonna be a huge year for WOUNDS and we wish them the very best of luck as they deserve everything and then some.
