INTERVIEW: GHOST – “SKELETÁ’ IS ABOUT HOPE, REGRET, LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE”, TOBIAS FORGE

Posted on by Oran

Ghost frontman, Tobias Forge sat down with Overdrive to discuss, in detail, the bands recently revealed sixth studio album, ‘SKELETÁ’, a follow up to ‘Rite Here Rite Now, and his inclusion on the forthcoming final Black Sabbath gig this coming July.

With five critically acclaimed albums under their belt, Swedish rock titans Ghost are gearing up to unleash their most ambitious record yet—SKELETÁ, set for release on April 25 via Loma Vista.

As the mastermind behind the project, Tobias Forge continues to push creative boundaries, blending cinematic grandeur with the band’s signature theatrical rock sound.

In this candid interview, Forge delves into the making of SKELETÁ and the inspiration behind its sinister lead single, ‘Satanized’. He also teases the possibility of a new film project, following in the footsteps of Rite Here Rite Now, and sheds light on why he, rather than the full band, will be participating in Black Sabbath’s final-ever show in Birmingham this July.
